Who runs this site

THS Tools is a personal project by Taimur Hassan Siddiqui, a freelance video editor and CS lecturer based in Pakistan.

What data I collect

• Files you process: All file processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to any server. I never see, access, or store your files.
• AI tools: The AI Image Generator and AI Writing Assistant send your prompts to Pollinations.ai. The prompts leave your browser and go to their servers, not mine.
• Usage limits: Tool usage counts are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device.
• Contact form: If you email me or message me on WhatsApp, I receive whatever you choose to share. I use it only to reply to you.

Cookies and tracking

The files you open in the tools are never uploaded — that part of the promise is unchanged, and it is enforced by the tools running entirely in your browser. What the site does record is how the pages themselves are used. Data stored directly in your browser is limited to your theme preference, A/B test assignments, and tool-usage counters in localStorage.

Google Analytics 4: This site uses Google Analytics (measurement ID G-EXW1S3CVW9) to understand which pages and tools people find useful. It records page views, approximate location (country/city level, derived from a truncated IP address), device and browser type, and referring site, and it sets cookies to recognise returning visits. It never receives the contents of any file you process in a tool, and it never receives anything you type into a tool. You can read how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out entirely with Google's browser opt-out add-on.

Google AdSense: This site shows ads through Google AdSense, which sets advertising cookies to serve and measure ads. Depending on the choice you make in the consent prompt, ads may be personalized or non-personalized; either way Google may process your IP address and ad-interaction data. Third-party services

• Hosting: The site is served as static files directly from its hosting provider's origin server. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) may be recorded as part of normal web hosting.
• Google Fonts: Loads the Inter typeface. Google may log your IP address. Google Privacy Policy
• Pollinations.ai: Powers the AI Image Generator, AI Video Generator, Writing Assistant, and other AI tools. Your prompts are sent to their servers for processing. I do not control how Pollinations.ai handles this data.
• cdnjs.cloudflare.com: Hosts JavaScript libraries (Tesseract.js, PDF.js) used by the tools.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Data security

Since I do not collect or store your data on my servers, there is nothing to breach. Your files stay in your browser's memory and are cleared when you close the tab. All connections to this site are encrypted via HTTPS. The site also enforces HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to prevent downgrade attacks.

Your rights

You have the right to know what data is collected (this page tells you everything), request deletion of any data shared via email, clear your localStorage, and use the tools without providing personal information.

Changes to this policy

If I change how data is handled, I will update this page with a new date at the top.
