If it does not work
The PDF is very large
Phone photos are big. Tick "Shrink large photos first" before creating the PDF.
A photo is rotated the wrong way
Some cameras store orientation as metadata. Rotate the image before adding it.
The pages are in the wrong order
There is no reordering step - pages follow the order the files arrive from your file picker. Rename them 01, 02, 03 and add them again.

The options, explained
Image to PDF builds the file with jsPDF inside the page. It has one real option and a few behaviours worth knowing:
- One image per page
- Each image you add becomes its own page, centred on an A4 page. There is no way to put two images on one page.
- Shrink large photos first
- When ticked, each image is reduced to 2,000 pixels on its long side before it is placed. Phone photos are often 4,000 pixels or more, and without this the PDF can be too large to email. The 2,000-pixel size is still sharp enough to read a printed page on screen.
- Page order
- Pages follow the order your file picker hands the files over. If order matters, number the file names (01, 02, 03) before you add them.
- Accepted files
- Any image your browser can read: JPG, PNG, WebP and similar. Select several at once to make a multi-page PDF.
What it cannot do
- Images are placed as they are. The tool does not detect page edges, straighten a crooked photo, crop the table out of the picture or boost contrast the way a scanner app does. A poor photo gives a poor PDF.
- The output has no text layer. If you need a searchable or copyable document, run the PDF through OCR PDF afterwards.
- There is no per-page reordering after you have added the files, and no page-size choice. Remove and re-add files if the order is wrong.
- The free allowance is 5 runs per day for this tool, counted in your browser and reset at midnight UTC.
How it compares with the alternatives
Phone scanner features, such as the document scanner in the Notes app on iPhone or the scan option in Google Drive on Android, find the page edges, flatten the perspective and clean up the lighting as they create the PDF. If you are about to photograph a document, use those and you will get a better result.
Image to PDF is the right tool when the pictures already exist: screenshots, photos from a camera roll, images sent to you in a chat, or files from a scanner that only produces JPEGs. It runs in your browser tab, so ID pages and receipts are not uploaded to this site.

Getting a better result
Photograph flat and in even light
Lay the page on a table near a window, hold the phone parallel to the page and avoid shadows. It matters more than any setting.
Crop before you add
Trim the surrounding table in your phone's photo editor so the page fills the picture.
Number the file names
01-contract.jpg, 02-contract.jpg and so on keeps the pages in order.
Compress afterwards if needed
If the PDF is still too large for the upload, run it through Compress PDF with a target size.

Can I put several images on one page?
No. Each image gets its own page.
Will the quality drop?
Only if you tick the shrink option, which limits the long side to 2,000 pixels. Untick it to keep the original pixels, at the cost of a larger file.
Can I change the page order after adding the images?
No. Order comes from how the files were added, so name them in order or add them again.
Is the PDF searchable?
No, it contains pictures. Use OCR PDF if you need to search or copy the text.
