- PNG is lossless and keeps text and diagrams crisp. JPG is smaller and suits pages that are mostly photographs.
- Screen (108 DPI)
- Small images for viewing on a screen or posting online.
- Standard (144 DPI)
- A good default: sharp on most screens, still a reasonable file size.
- Print (216 DPI)
- Larger images for a page that will be printed or zoomed into.

- It converts up to 20 pages per run. For a longer document, split it first and convert the parts.
- The highest setting is 216 DPI. That is fine for most printing, but for professional print work, export images from the application that made the PDF.
- Every page is rendered to a canvas, so a long or complex PDF can be slow and can stall a phone.

JPG adds blur around letters and lines. PNG keeps them sharp.
