The problem

Where ecommerce builds go wrong

Most store owners we talk to have already paid for a site once. The second build has to fix what the first one got wrong.

A platform chosen for the demo, not the catalog, so pricing rules or B2B features need plugins that fight each other
Page speed that collapses on mobile because the theme ships every script for every page
Checkout that forces an account, hides shipping costs until the last step, and loses the customer there
Order status that lives in three dashboards, so customers email to ask where their parcel is
No clear owner of the code, hosting or domain once the previous agency stopped answering

Our approach

How we choose a platform and what we build on it

The platform question comes first, and the honest answer depends on your catalog and operations. Shopify suits most DTC brands that want reliable checkout and apps without maintaining servers. WooCommerce fits businesses already invested in WordPress content or with unusual pricing logic. A custom or headless build on Next.js makes sense when you need full control of the front end, very fast pages, or integrations that off-the-shelf platforms cannot express. We recommend one, explain the trade-offs, and quote a fixed fee.

One example of what we build: a full storefront for a laptops and computer-accessories retailer, written in Next.js 14 with TypeScript and Tailwind. It covers a filterable catalog with specifications, a persistent cart, checkout, and customer order tracking, and it is live today. Whatever the platform, every store we ship includes payment gateway setup, shipping-rate logic, tax configuration, an order-management flow your staff can actually use, and performance work measured on real mobile devices.

What's included

  • Platform recommendation — A short written comparison of Shopify, WooCommerce and headless options against your catalog, budget and team.
  • Storefront design and build — Responsive product, collection, cart and checkout pages designed around your products, not a stock template.
  • Catalog and search — Product data modeled with variants, filters and specifications so shoppers can narrow down quickly.
  • Payments and checkout — Shopify Payments, Stripe or PayPal configured with wallets, tax rules and a guest checkout path.
  • Shipping and fulfillment — Rate tables, zones, free-shipping thresholds and carrier integrations matched to how you actually ship.
  • Order management and tracking — An order flow for your staff and a tracking page for customers, connected to your fulfillment tools.
  • Performance and launch — Image, script and caching work measured with Lighthouse on mobile, plus DNS, SSL and analytics at go-live.

Process

How we work

Discovery

A free 30-minute call about your products, volumes and current tools, followed by a fixed-fee proposal.

Spec and design

Wireframes, data model and integration list signed off before development starts, so scope stays fixed.

Build in sprints

Two-week sprints with a staging link and a Loom walkthrough at the end of each, so you see progress early.

Test and migrate

Products, customers and orders moved across, payments tested in sandbox, and a checklist run before launch.

Launch and support

Go-live handled together, then a support window for fixes and an optional retainer for ongoing work.

Benefits

What you get from a store built this way

The right platform, not the default

You get a recommendation based on your catalog and team, with the trade-offs explained plainly.

Fast on the phones your customers use

Performance is tested on mid-range mobile devices, not a developer laptop.

Operations built in

Payments, shipping, tax and order handling are part of the build, not follow-up tickets.

You own everything

Code, hosting accounts, domain and platform admin sit in your name from day one.

Fit

Who this is for

  • DTC brands outgrowing a marketplace or a page-builder site
  • Retailers moving a physical shop online with a large, spec-heavy catalog
  • B2B sellers who need customer-specific pricing and quote requests
  • Founders launching a new product line who want the store built right the first time
  • Businesses replacing an abandoned or unsupported store build

Common use cases

Shopify store build

A themed or custom-coded Shopify store with apps chosen for your operations, not the app-store bestseller list.

WooCommerce store

A WordPress site extended with a full shop, custom pricing rules and content that stays in one CMS.

Headless Next.js storefront

A custom front end on a commerce API for brands that need speed, control and unusual product logic.

Replatforming

Migration from Magento, Wix, Squarespace or an old custom build with products, customers and redirects intact.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What determines the cost of an ecommerce website?
Four things: the platform (a Shopify theme build costs less than a headless Next.js storefront), the number of custom page templates, the integrations you need (ERP, shipping software, subscriptions, B2B pricing), and how much data must be migrated. Design from scratch costs more than adapting a quality theme. We do not publish prices because two stores with the same product count can differ enormously in effort, but every project receives a fixed-fee proposal after a free strategy call.
How long does a build take?
A Shopify store on a customized theme with a modest catalog typically fits in two to three sprints. A WooCommerce build with custom pricing logic runs longer, and a headless storefront with its own front end is usually a multi-month project. Timelines depend heavily on how quickly product data, images and copy arrive from your side, so we agree a content schedule at the spec stage and flag delays early.
What do we need to prepare before you start?
Your product data in whatever form it exists (spreadsheet, old platform export, supplier feed), product photography, brand assets, shipping rules and tax registrations, and access to the accounts you already hold, such as your domain registrar and payment provider. If any of these are missing we can help you set them up, but they are always created in your name. A list of sites you like, with notes on why, speeds up the design stage considerably.
Who owns the store, the code and the accounts?
You do. Shopify and WooCommerce admin, hosting, domain, payment gateway and analytics are all registered to your business, and we work as a staff or collaborator account you can remove. Custom code is delivered in a Git repository you control. There is no lock-in: if you decide to bring development in-house or move to another agency later, everything needed is already in your hands and documented.
What support do you provide after launch?
Every build includes a support window after go-live for bugs and small adjustments. After that you can choose a monthly retainer for feature work, theme updates, app changes and performance checks, or return on a project basis when you need something specific. We also record a Loom walkthrough of the admin at hand-over so your team can manage products, discounts and orders without depending on us.
How does the project run with you working remotely from Pakistan?
In practice it runs on a staging link, a shared task board and recorded walkthroughs, so you review progress whenever suits you, and calls are booked in your working hours. The founder has worked this way with clients in more than ten countries since 2020 and handles every project personally, so decisions and context stay in one place. Payment is by milestone against the fixed-fee proposal.
